Plasmedic fibroblast (Plasma pen treatment)

Wrinkle reduction and skin tightening

Plasmedic is an innovative treatment offering non – surgical eyelid lift and wrinkle reduction.  The Plasmedic device creates a voltage difference between the device and the skin resulting in a small millimetre size carbon spot where the excess skin has been evaporated.  Using our reduction gird method and the formation of the new Collagen and Elastin the skin becomes tighter, lifted and wrinkles smoothed out and reduced.
Areas that can be treated are, but not limited to

  • Upper Blepharoplasty (eye lid lift)
  • Lower Blepharoplasty

  • Marionette Lines
  • Top lip (smokers lines)
  • Chin
  • Jowls
  • Cheeks
  • Neck

With this technology we can offer Non surgical wrinkle reduction treatments with results lasting 2-5 years.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need a consultation?

Yes, we always recommend a consultation to assess and suggest a treatment plan for you.

Does the treatment hurt?

We advise that a topical numbing cream is used to minimise any pain or discomfort.

How long until I see results?

Results can usually be seen immediately, but are more noticeable once the scabs have fallen away usually after 5-7 days, and improvement will continue for 2-3 months. Results last for 2-5 years depending on the client.

How many treatments are needed?

One treatment is often enough however severity of eyelids or wrinkles and clients expectations are all taken into account. Some clients may need 2 or 3 treatments. If additional treatments are needed these are done 2-3 months apart.

How long do results last?

Generally 2-5 years. Clients results vary due to diet, lifestyle and the way your skin naturally ages. Treatment can be repeated at any time.

Are there any side effects?

Plasmedic treatments are extremely safe. We always check all contraindications to see if there is any reason you would have an undesired result. You will be given complete aftercare program including instructions and aftercare products.

Immediately after the procedure, the treated area will be quite red and mildly swollen. This can last from 1-3 days. The small carbon dots will dry and become small crusts. It is important that these crusts must not be picked or scratched as this can cause scarring.

It is recommended to have 3 days off work following your procedure.
